ABOUT THE CLASS
This is 1-day on-camera acting course involving no more than 6 students maximum. I will pair you up with a scene partner and we will determine a scene to film in class. You are encouraged to rehearse outside of the session to be ready to film.
When we meet in class, I will shoot and direct the scene as I would for a film with the necessary coverage (ex: Master shot, 2-shot, Close-Ups). Upon completion of filming, we will evaluate and discuss your performance by immediately watching the footage together.
Everyone in the class will be allowed to view the footage and engage in our discussion. Only constructive feedback is allowed.
Class duration will vary depending on class size. Each scene will be allotted 1 hour to shoot and review.

TESITMONIALS
FROM THE CLASS:
“Gary is a great partner to actors. The proof was in the footage—take after take, I watched my performance find shape and depth under his direction.”
- Anne DeAcetis, actress
FROM THE SET:
“Watching Gary work is a total education. His patience allows an actor to access their own instincts, but his direction is specific enough to coax out the performance necessary. He never loses sight of the big picture even while juggling the small ones, and has taught me volumes about being adaptable and creating beautiful moments from thin air.”
- Jenn Dees, actress
“Gary knows exactly how to get what he wants from his actors. There is a calming atmosphere he creates on set that allows for the director/actor relationship to flourish in order to bring his characters to life. He allows freedom and trust for his actors to create organic moments and in turn we as actors trust in his vision and direction.”
- Mark DiConzo, actor
“Gary can always get the best out of the actors that he works with from beginner to professional level. You will learn how to make strong choices, and explore every aspect of your character. Don’t miss the opportunity to work with and learn from him.“
- Christina Rose, actress
