I was a nervous wreck hours before the screening. Those that know me knew I was burning a hole in the carpet with my pacing around. After 3 months, the first draft is done for my next feature script “Americana”. It’s definitely in a rough form, but at least all the ideas are down now. I’ll need a few more months of rewrites now before it’s in a presentable form — but I’m really excited about it. Just got word that NY Lately will have its “World Premiere” screening at the 2009 Sedona International Film Festival. This is an amazing festival — so I am honored…..and you can bet that I’ll be there for the screenings. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I found Christine Kerrigan’s ASSOCIATED CONTENT article listing the Top 5 Indie Films she had seen by late November 2008. NEW YORK LATELY was listed just behind SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE — not too shabby.
