The ever important ending to a film is no more evident with THE BIG BLUE (dir: Luc Besson – Le Grand Bleu). I remember seeing the American version on VHS and loving it. While visiting my folks in California for Thanksgiving, I decided to see if my old Super-8 films were still laying around. With very little fanfare — sitting here alone in the man cave — the cut for WHAT’S UP LOVELY is now at picture lock. Very exciting times. There’s been a lack of updates for a while here — but I’ve got a great excuse. I was on location in Cleveland, Ohio directing “DEATH OF THE DEAD” for Strange Stuff Productions — starring the gorgeously talented Christina Rose as (“Wanda”) and Jack Abele as her trainer (“Master Sensei”).
