Bad Times

Turns out my math sucks — a week of editing has gone by and I’ve correctly calculated that I’ve completed 35 minutes of the rough cut. I don’t know how I figured 40 minutes was done last week — it did seem like an awful lot at the time. Oh well.

The 35 minutes is looking pretty good….still don’t know the overall tone of the piece yet as I’m cutting scene by scene and haven’t had time to just sit back and watch the whole thing through yet. I’m just plowing through trying to make each scene the best it can be before I really watch it as an overall piece. I’m not sure if that’s the best way (is there one?) but it’s working for me. I’m really happy with the performances so far and can’t wait to see how everything turns out.
