Getting to about that time

Things have been crazy busy — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. To be able to do what you love ain’t a job.

Shooting starts in just a few weeks — the cast is being finalized with formal announcements to be made in the very near future. Let me just say that it will be a pleasure to work with such a talented group of people — and a shame I had to tell others that as much as I love their work it isn’t a good fit. One of my favorite directors mentioned that while he loved certain actors, he still had to wait to cast them for the appropriate role….can’t force things.

Locations are being locked down. Meetings galore with the actors and crew. Rehearsals are beginning shortly. Old friends (cast/crew) are coming in from California for this one. The tremendous support I’ve been finding from friends, acquaintances and strangers is overwhelming. With all this positive mojo, I really hope to create a special film for people to enjoy.
