  • Mini Reviews:

Meet the Fockers (2004) – Can’t believe this made over $200 million. Just awful. (D)A Love Song for Bobby Long (2004) – The story wasn’t anything new, but seeing the performance from Gabriel Macht made me think he’s someone to look for in the future. (B-)

  • Lazy Sunday…..

    Lazy Sunday…..

Shot another film acting workshop yesterday. It was a total blast. I can’t believe it’s already Number 6!!! Thanks to Liz, Gabe and Jason for a memorable time. I’m going to have tons of fun editing the scene together. Another fun thing is we used the Canon XL2 which I was dying to test out since it will be the camera we use for my short film production this summer.Workshop #6 pics: Last night, the DP (Jason Varner) and I [...]

Ocean’s 12 (2004) – Definitely style over substance…..and such a waste of an incredible cast. The production was probably an excuse to go on vacation for everyone on the company’s money. Closer (2004) – Some great performances. I’d love to work with Clive Owen. (B+) Spanglish (2004) – This one felt a [...]

  • The fun continues….

Still busy casting and having fun preparing for what looks like to be a really fun shoot. My main actor, Jeremy Koerner, has been a blast to work with during this process. He has helped me shape the script as well as been a strong component to the audition process. Without him, the movie would not be possible. In fact, I wrote the script with him in mind as one of the main characters….fittingly, named Jeremy. I’ve been in talks [...]
